OPTION 1 - Add a Donation to Your Order ($5 increments):
If you would like to add a donation to your order for one of the following non-profit organizations. Simply add it to your cart and we will mail a check for the same amount (within 30 days) directly to the non-profit that you have selected. Purchased in $5 increments, simply change shopping cart to 2,3,4 or more quantity to increase donation to $10, $15, $20 or more.

OPTION 2 - Donate Directly:
If you prefer to deal directly with these non-profits, simply follow link to their website and join with / or donate to them directly. We prefer if you donate directly, but please if you decide to do so, please do so NOW. Time is important, Your Action is Required Today not Tomorrow! Greenpeace, the Humane Society & an African Orphanage. Together we can all make a difference.

Our selection is based on a long term results and achievements of groups that fight, protect, save or help a wide range of different causes that are all of importance for our better existence on our wonderful planet earth..

Greenpeace:

Greenpeace: Greenpeace proves every day that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things. It was a group of thoughtful, committed citizens that came together in 1971 to create Greenpeace. A handful of determined activists leased a small fishing vessel, called the Phyllis Cormack, and set sail from Vancouver for Amchitka Island in Alaska. Their mission was to protest U.S. nuclear testing off the coast of Alaska with a brave act of defiance: to place themselves in harm’s way. Despite being intercepted by the U.S. Coast Guard, these daring activists sailed into history by bringing worldwide attention to the dangers of nuclear testing.

Their Work: That was more than 30 years ago, and in that time, Greenpeace has indeed changed the world, and we continue to make the world a better place. Our committed activists and supporters have come together to ban commercial whaling, convince the world’s leaders to stop nuclear testing, protect Antarctica, and so much more. Today, we have grown from a small group of dedicated activists to an international organization with offices in more than 30 countries. But our spirit and our mission remain the same. Our fight to save the planet has grown more serious – the threat of global warming, destruction of ancient forests, deterioration of our oceans, and the threat of a nuclear disaster loom large. Greenpeace is actively working to address these and other threats.

Natures Brands has been donating on a monthly basis to greenpeace for over 5 years.  We have been increasing the contribution as our sales have increased. Help increase that monthly donation with your very small contribution in $5 increments and/or if you prefer simply order allot and tell your friends to do the same.

The Humane Society:

Protecting the innocent lives and souls of animals that do not have the layers of protection that humans hav. Our major campaigns target four primary issues: 1) factory farming, 2) animal fighting and other forms of animal cruelty, 3) the fur trade, and 4) inhumane sport hunting practices.

About Them: The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has worked since 1954 to promote the protection of all animals. With nearly ten million members and constituents, The HSUS is the nation’s largest and most powerful animal protection organization, working in the United States and abroad to defend the interests of animals. We celebrate the human-animal bond, and we fight animal cruelty and abuse in all of its forms.

Why They Need You: We work to reduce suffering and to create meaningful social change for animals by advocating for public policies to protect animals, investigating cruelty and working to enforce existing laws, educating the public about the issues, and conducting hands-on programs, such as assisting animals when disasters strike.

Our other campaigns take on puppy mills, the private ownership of exotic animals as pets, greyhound racing, and particularly unacceptable animal research and testing practices, such as the use of great apes in research. Our two signature programs — Pets for Life and Wild Neighbors — celebrate the benefits of the bond between people and animals who live with us or in our communities, and teach people how to solve human/animal conflicts humanely. And we provide direct care for thousands of animals at our sanctuaries, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and mobile veterinary clinics.

A Small South African Orphanage:

A small orphanage that gets very little help from International NGO's or South African Government Grants. All contact details to follow.

About Them: This donation is under construction. The reason is that they do not accept credit cards or foreign checks. We are in the process of arranging a better transfer of funds that will facilitate this "add a donation to your order program".
