How Natural is your Organic Facial Cleanser?
Did you know that many natural facial wash products contain SLS? SLS (also known as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate and ammonium lauryl sulfate) are added to natural products to make the product foam.
A newer ingredient called Sodium Laureth Sulfoacetate (SLS) is accepted in the market as a safer alternative to Sodium Laureth or Lauryl sulfate. You may look for this ingredient in your organic face wash label. This detergent also helps the product foam and has shown to harm the aquatic life when washed in the streams. So why add it to our organic products?
Give Your Skin the Proper Care, Naturally
Use safer alternatives like an organic facial cleanser that is pure with no synthetic ingredients that are almost edible.
Control skin dryness with a moisturizing facial wash that naturally cleanses dry skin with plant derived ingredients that are nourishing to sensitive dry skin.
Perhaps you want to start your day feeling refreshed without having to wash your face and use a dry skin cleanser that is specially formulated for those who prefer not to use a facial wash but simply wipe the skin with a cotton ball to remove dirt.
If you have normal to oily skin and see that a product label contains oils, you tend to shy away from it. However, ask yourself are these plant derived oils? If so they are your friends. An oily skin facial wash that contains organic plant oils do not clog up your pores nor do they add more oils to your pores. It is good to have pure beneficial oils in a natural face cleanser to balance and tone normal to oily skin. Only a pure natural organic face wash should be considered worthy enough to be used on your skin.
